Placing 2 quarter notes at a time

Now we are going to place 2 notes one after each other in different places relative to the beat and observe the different feels they create.

1) Sing the 1 e & a ... while tapping your foot on the beat and playing the following:

S S T T

Then shift the beat and complete the exercise for (S T T S), (T T S S), (T S S T)

2) Now try S S B B

shift the beat and complete the exercise for (S B B S), (B B S S), (B S S B)

3) Now try T T B B

Then shift the beat and complete the exercise for (T B B T), (B B T T ), (B T T B)
