Join us at the Mid-Summer Drum, Dance and Balafon Retreat as we celebrate the West African arts of music and dance. Powerful classes, great community and a beautiful setting together will make this event a summer classic.

Additional Information: Wholesome meals are prepared by the Lindenwoods staff, and available at the times posted. Food is available buffet-style, including vegetarian options. Friday dinner through Sunday lunch are included in the full price for the weekend. What to bring: Your djembe / dunun (some drums will be available for student use), comfortable clothing, note-taking/recorders, and positive vibe. Sheets, towels and soap are provided.

Lindenwood offers views of Lake Gilbraith and dormatory-style lodging (2 people to a room, ind. rooms available for an additional fee). All rooms have a private bath with shower. Classes will be held indoors (air-conditioned), and dance class is led in the gymnasium (wood floor). Lindedwood
