Its goal is to help street kids and handicapped polio victims in Bobodioulasso in Burkina Faso in West Africa, helping them with creative workshops and basic material to improve every day life. It was founded by January 2002 by Jean Marc Collin after returning from a trip to Burkina Faso. The project is divided into two section: Street Kids Project - The main project of La Roue Tourne with the street kids organisation is to build a center because they still haven't got their own place, so, their efforts are always a bit fragile. La Roue Tourne bought 450 square metres of land 2 years ago and started building last winter. 'A Song of Hope Project' - With the polio victims, the main project now is to organise a tour around the country for them to sing the message they want to give to the other handicaped people in Burkina, and to set up another workshop, with the goal of being self sufficent.
