We have a special offer for Canadian workshop participants, from TTM-USA, due to the unfortunate circumstance of Famoudou Konate being denied a visa to enter Canada. I'll just paste their text directly below - I'd go myself if I could, it sounds great!

SPECIAL OFFER FOR CANADA GRANDMASTER ATTENDEES
TO STUDY WITH FAMOUDOU & MAMADY IN SAN DIEGO:

Only $750 to attend 2-Week Grandmasters Intensive San Diego (a $250 discount!!)
Or $400 to attend for one week (a $100 discount!!)

Due to the unfortunate situation of Famoudou's Canadian Visa not going through in time, TTM USA/San Diego would like to extend a special invitation and discounted price to anyone who attends any of the 2012 Grandmasters' Canada Workshops to come to the San Diego workshop with Mamady and Famoudou.

If you are interested please download/complete your registration form from our website (http://www.ttmusa.org) and email to info@ttmusa.org, and let us know which Canada workshop you attended. We will then send you a link to pay the tuition through our marketplace (or you can mail a check to: TTM USA, Attn: GMT, P. O. Box 83164, San Diego, CA 92138.)

We hope to see you in San Diego!!! Contact: info@ttmusa.org if you have any questions.

I'm so glad that Canadian immigration officers are on the ball. After all, a 70-year old musician could indeed represent a major threat to the country's economy and national security… :(
