djembé-dramé weekend in the Netherlands with Ibrahima Sarr

In the weekend of 13-16th of august 2010

Djembé Dramé - Moussé Dramé and his wife and about 10 volunteers organise for the tenth time a great weekend workshop on the most northern part of the Netherlands: the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog (don't try to pronounce unless you are Dutch...) with the following teachers:

Dance:
-Youssouf Koumbassa. two levels: beginners/intermediate and advanced. friday 1,5 hours, saturday and sunday 3 hours each.

Djembé and dunun:
-Ibrahima Sarr
-Babara Bangoura
-Adama 'Bilorou' Dembélé
-Ibou N'Diaye
-Moussé Dramé
5 groups in 4 levels from absolute beginners to advanced.
You will get lessons from two teachers: friday 2 hours, saturday and sunday 4 hours.

The weekend starts friday afternoon. after an half an hour boattrip you will reach the beautiful island, where cars aren't allowed, only for the few inhabitants. You will transport yourself by bike. We will stay in a big farmhouse, with possibility to camp. African (Senegalese) food is provided.
Extra activities are performances by the teachers on the beach with a big campfire, a presentation on Sunday night of all the workshops and parties with d.j.'s

Price is € 260,- including lessons, accommodation for three nights, 3 x breakfast, 3 x senegalese meals, 2 lunches, coffee and tea.

looks nice! Yousouff Koumbassa will be here for 4 days this next weekend.

Sounds awesome...wish I could be there for that one. I'd love to study with Ibrahima. And the NL is a beautiful country.
