Just got word from Rebekah. There will be a change of venue (and a minor change of date) this year.

New date: Monday 3 October to Sunday 8 October 2011.

New venue: Bents Basin, Wallacia, NSW.

Accommodation is camping, as usual. The place is in the middle of a nature reserve, a little over an hour's drive west of Sydney.

does this mean the annual camp will no longer be held at bundagen, or is this a one-off?

sounds like a good venue, although the brisbane/sunshine coast crew will have to travel a lot further, and some might not be able to make it. hopefully this will be balanced out by more attendance from sydney.

My understanding is that this is a one-off. I doubt that many people from Queensland will make the trip. It's a twelve-our drive each way, and flying is not an option because of the camping. On the upside, there will probably be lots more people from Sydney and Canberra.

I just got email from Rebekah. The camp will now run from Monday 3 October to Thursday 6 October, so it's four days instead of seven. Apparently, not enough people registered to justify running it for the whole week.
