I simply think djembe music is great, and I enjoy playing the djembe.
I could be more constructive and study/practice all the time, but playing is more enjoyable.
I guess there is the intuitave reasoning behind doing something and the logical or analytical reasoning. To learn and get better is one way of looking at it, but allowing yourself to relax and express your self through the drum is another.
There seems to be a therapeutic benefit from playing djembe. I think the world of intuition and logic need to meet to play djembe and be good at it.
