With various discussions going on here about notation and definition of terms and what not, I thought it might be interesting to post this:

If you hang on till the 1:00 mark, you will see and hear some very complicated rhythmic material.

I will warn you though, this is a bit of an aquired taste. VERY modern. As it happens I am a huge fan of Mr. Carter (going to be 104 years of age this year, and still composing!)

Reminds me of the first time I tasted alcohol. :) It's definitely not obviously catchy at first listen, but maybe it will grow on me. What's most impressive is that this fellow (or other modern composers) can contain this structure. I certainly hope that I'm active at 104.
