i agree with jurgen here. i've done a lot of time with MK as well as other masters from guinea, mali, senegal, Burkina and IC. most of those solo OGs he teaches were learned in the ballet or from his travels in the ballet or even from when he moved abroad to europe. 4 of the ones he teaches i would consider in the "traditional" vein: dansa, soli, garanke and mendiani.
