I'm trying to correlate the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) to the study djembe playing from a Western perspective, and am hoping for some help. Can anyone add to or refine these examples:

DENIAL: "I am playing djembe!"
ANGER: "Hey--I can't hear myself--why won't everyone pipe down!"
BARGAINING: "I will hold my hand this way instead..."
DEPRESSION: "...it isn't a bongo..."
ACCEPTANCE: (stuck on this one...)

I would refine it as follows:

DENIAL: "I'm not into new age stuff -- I'm doing this only for balance with my work."
ANGER: "Hey--I can't hear myself--why won't everyone pipe down!"
BARGAINING: "If I play everything left-handed, surely my left slap must improve?"
DEPRESSION: "My name is 'Michi', not 'Mamady'."
ACCEPTANCE: "Pa - tapa - bidipa - tapa"

Michi ;)
