some burkinabe afro-beat. nansara means 'the white man' (bambara & jula languages). the song is about slavery and the endurance of culture. this song reminds me of epizo bangoura's music.

the group, dumba kultur, normally does rap over neo-traditional music, with some traditional singing. a nice combination.

I must ask you about something regarding this topic. Did you hear about "Nansara Djembefola" CD? I heard Sörsörnët, Zaouli and Soliba from it, and I love them. But I couldn't find any information about musicians engaged in the project. I suppose in band are white people, but I'm not sure, as music is really really good. Do you have any information or liner notes to this CD?

And about this band Dumba Kultur. I like also their song "Doni Doni":
