Very nice djembe kan by Thomas Fallet. He runs the TTM school in Couchey, France. I've never met him—I'm hoping that I'll run into him at one of Mamady's camps one of these days…

I like the way he's using his fingers and working with tonal color via smaller movements.

Nice solo; would love to hear him playing at a lower volume and somewhat slower tempo. Am willing to bet that it would allow him to work in a different, possibly more nuanced (in certain respects), manner.

All that said... I think it takes a lot of guts to sit down in front of a video cam and get a really good take! (Something I have yet to achieve, on any instrument.)
