Moussas style definatley did grow on me having seen him play a few times. I think when he has more power and experience he,ll sound much better. He seems like a well chilled out and humble guy. I like him. I caught a class he was teaching and that looked really good too.

yea maybe he'll chill out with some age. he is still very young.

but the difference b/w he and his brothers is pretty drastic...check out their clips on M'bemba Fakoli.

Hey guys I recently received my copy of Fadouba's instructional DVD with his sons in Faranah.

This video really hit the mark for me!

The dun playing is absolutely impeccable, such great groove and its really nice to learn not just one dun phrase but variations to go with it for extra "feel".

The djembe soloists are also fantastic to watch and every phrase is adds to the groove which is already cooking! I totally understand where Dugafola is coming from when describing the difference in playing between the Oulare sons. The instructional DVD presents the best and most enjoyable style of djembe playing that I have found. There is no over use of flashy speed and complicated licks, just simple phrases that make you wanna move!

Dugafola, you mentioned something about "M'bemba Fakoli" ......???

I would be interested to find out what Mohamed Oulare and the other brothers are doing these days. If you could help finding some good material or any contacts for drum camps etc... that would be very helpful.

Thanks and Merry Christmas ALL!
