Kawa jam on bala

the soloist here is sekou conde, who lives in kawayaba, faranah, guinea. he's in fadouba's generation (possibly older than fadouba would have been had he still been alive...rip). his son sekouba is playing the accompaniment.

gotta love the key on the bala that buzzes, but especially the sublime, free and polyrhythmic playing, reminiscent of sory kouyate.
