"Les petit sorciers" is the band of Fadouba Oularé, basically the sons of Fadouba, so it must be an arrangement of the band...

I was under the impression that Les Petits Sorciers were a band from Conakry directed by Papa Kouyaté

Yes, I've seen this video. There seem to be at least two band of this name, not a rare thing.
But check out these two videos of the Oularé family:

Yepp, stupid, shame on you! :giggle:
Evan, I miss your cool slogan under your posts. Why is it gone? I really liked it.

well, now I got confused. It's kind of strange having two bands with the same name and the same drummers. I'm guessing that someone on the forum will have to crack this one for us.

Probably it's just one band. What's to know is how did it start and how did it develop. The name makes sense, being the Oularé boys sons of a féticheur...

Great videos, thanks for posting. Loved Fadouba dancing. His strong man dance has some influence of the kawa mask movements, wouldn't you agree?

it's the same group. not sure who started it...i think it was Papa Kouyate with a lot of the musical muse being from Fadouba.
