man, that's beautiful. Thanks for posting Keanie...

I definitely believe there's a link between African and Irish trad music, although I've never been able to find anything to back that up, just listening to the harmonic and rhythmic structures used by both types of music. I think that there are harmonies that are unique to West African and Irish (and maybe bluegrass) music. There's a connection there.

Also, I love Paddy Keenan. I chose one of his slow waltzes for my wedding procession.

Brian It's essential to eat plenty of potatoes when away from home

Avoid 3 plates of rice a day at all costs

And go easy on the ataia til your acclimatized

kid, what about the soul food? do you need to listen to 3 hours of jigs a day to avoid overload when you move on to dununbas? ;)
