Ibrahima Sarr demonstrates some N'gri solo phrases

It's my son playing football there behind Sarr.... This was during our weekend in the Netherlands where we had Ibrahima Sarr, Babara Bangoura, Youssouf Koumbassa.... What a line-up. I especially remember the reaction to this kind of djembe-playing. Most of the students were used to play Malinke-style, and could get along with Babara's rhythms well, but when it came to phrases like this!
He also did some Dansa phrases that workshop, and when it came to the performance night he chose to play those instead of n'gri because he wasn't sure at all everybody understood them. I hope it really opened up some people's eyes to this beatifull style. However some students didn't return to his class the 2nd day.... !?
