Dununba

Postby Mikeleza » Mon Aug 29, 2011 3:04 am

Hi guys,

I found this little gem on youtube the other day.

I can look at dununba videos for hours!

This video has a good amount of three rhythms - Bolokonondo, Takosaba and Bando Djeli

The sound is very clear and there is a really nice feeling overall to the video. I'm especially happy that from this video I have managed to pick up the basic dance step to Takosaba! :D

Enjoy

If anyone could by pointing me towards other videos where I might be able to learn the basic footwork to Bolokonondo and other dununbas I would really appreciate it!

Hey Mike,

this video is really awesome. thanx.

When you are that much interested in Dununbas, wouldn't you be interested in an apprenticeship with Daniel ? I plan to do 5 workshops for a whole week with him, starting 2013, every 6 months, where the participants can learn drumming and dancing, for addicts of dununbas only. After the workshops we probably have a group tour through the villages of Hamana for the fêtes. Germany is probably to far for someone from Australia, isn't it? But it would be great to have you around...

cheers, jürgen
