Holy chop-fest, Batman! Very tight performance. The dancers are great; I wish they had been more central to the performance.

My critique would be that the show lacks dynamic - all of the pieces start and end at full volume and tempo. And this may just be a personal preference, but I find the tempo too fast most of the time. You really can't feel the phrasing of the jembe or dunun. Which is a shame, because the jembefolas as well as dununfolas are all very skilled drummers and have a lot of language going on. Their unison breaks are really tight, but you can't really feel the breaks because the tempo is so fast. All in all though, very entertaining... nice work.

I agree with Bops...no variance in pace.
