i caught the 2nd day of these workshops which i believe were in summer 2006.
should i shave my moustache?

Are those solos based on any particular rhythm, he does a thing at about 55 for a few seconds which sounds like some kuku stuff i heard years ago.. (Though it was in senegal and i think it was sabar influenced)..

Oh yeah... 400... wooo.. I was going to right a long, intelligent and informed post... but seeing as were all about tradition.

that's a sweet djembekan. seems like some elements from a few rhythms in there.
