i really like how bangourake taught these guys the bala parts, drum parts, song and dance steps. it's a really sweet song. the japanese students did really well.

how do you know he taught them bala, song and dance?

could they have possibly learned this stuff before?

Mmm... and Duga has his doubts... again. :P
I am sure he has taught them bala, song and dance!
I have seen a video and photos from Taiwan where Bangourake was teaching Bala!
Also dont forget his father was a balaphon player in Guinea and his brother Epizo
is amazing on Bala!
And personally I have seen him conducting dance classes in Australia and Guinea.
Just my 2 cents.

he taught them, duga. i've also seen him teach some parts when someone brought their bala over to his dance class. he's more of a djembefola of course, but he can rock the bala. his bro epizo is the great bala player of the family and is quite amazing on djembe, dunun and kora as well.

This is a video i make during Bangourake teaching in taiwan. towards the end of the video you can see Bangourake teach Balaphone and he reverse his Bala in a way it is easier for the student to learn. He is amazing..
