Those little squiggly lines around the Rhythmic by Nature set were very difficult. Had to make a small set of scraper's to do the fine detailing work.
Broke two of my needle files in doing so.

Also put some shape to these, they are not flat, there is a slight ridge around the outside of them that is visible in the pictures. This causes an oil-canning effect on the material, putting stress into it and changing the sound.

These are nice! Any particular story about the choice of design?

Cheers,

Michi.

for you sese makers...

how do you decide on the gauge thickness for the rings?

some sese, no matter how pretty they are, have the wrong combo of sheet metal and rings and are just too damn loud.
should i shave my moustache?

Hi Michi,

The symbols represent Body/Health (Hands), Spirit/Energy (Sun) and Mind/Consciousness (Spirals). The two hands also represent balance, and remind me to not favour one side or the other when playing :)
