Mr. Palmer I appreciate your instructions regarding putting on a calf or cow skin. I am thinking of using a thick goat skin. Would you suggest pulling it hard wet like the calf skin? Are the thicker skins a lot harder to tune?

it is not as critical to pull goat as hard as cow when wet, i usually pull goat pretty hard but not like cow. i dont think thcik goat are any harder to tune then thinner goat, you just have to pull a thicker skin tighter which means more diamonds unless you pull your verticals so tight you dont need diamonds
