Writing a feature about organised tours to West Africa

Postby James » Tue Sep 07, 2010 8:23 pm

Hi guys,

I'm writing a feature about organised tours to West Africa this month.

Who takes tours that you know of?

I know of Sibo/Mohammed,
Sidiki Camara
Fams and Mamady
Abdul Doumbia
DRum Power (Simon)
SEckou Keita

Who am I missing?
Anything I should focus on?

I just came across www.Coryphee.be where they announce a travel with Ibrahima Sarr to Mali. And Babara Bangoura is with Thiosane Travel in Burkina from 18 december this year.

You could add Ray Pereira's and Simon Fraser's tours. King Marong and Lamine Sonko also run tours.

Cheers,

Michi.

Hi Guys, thanks for your help on this. I just finished the article that refers to the tours. I contacted nearly all of the people listed here and I have included everybody that responded.

I did ask for a few things in exchange for the promotion, such as adding there event on the site and offering a discount to any djembefola.com folks... Not everyone responded, but I'm really happy with the result anyway...

Here's the result anyway

Please do leave any comments you have there... (or here if you prefer)...

As I said I contacted everyone, but most didn't respond. It doesn't seem fair on those who did act, and offer discounts to include everyone.

I would like to give people all the options too though, so I will link to this thread from the article. Anybody that wants to share, can do so here with details, a link or adding the event and linking to that posted event.
