Selling recordings

Postby James » Fri Jan 07, 2011 9:09 am

There's a guy on Djembe-L selling a load of mini-disc recordings.

The list is impressive, and he doesn't say whether he actually recorded them all himself.

Seems to sit a little uncomforably for me though. Anyone else? What do you think?

Seems sketchy to me. He says he's including the mini-disk recorder/player in there with the disks.. I think it's BS he's using other peoples work/ to help "sell" his mini-disk player.

In his post, he says:
These recordings were made as back-ups from my original source materials (CD, LP or Cassette), collected over many years.

The list of recordings includes many CDs that are still being sold. So, clearly, you'd be buying material that breaks copyright.

Cheers,

MIchi.
