This really pisses me of...
Explosion in Bamako
My girlfriend is going on Saturday... I'm not so much worried about more explosions as the possibility of kidnappings. It seems unlikely, but I'd prefer not to have to think about it really...

whoa i'd heard about the few isolated kidnappings around timbuktu, but considered bamako quite safe. i'll be keeping an eye on this. thanks for the heads up.
