Come an learn about an ancient instrument from the forest region of Guinea, West Africa. The Krin was introduced to the ballet by master Krin player, Kemoko Sano. Kamako Sano was the director of Merveilles de La Guinea, which Mohamed Diaby was a part of for 2 years.
If there are not enough registered participants, this time slot will be used for dundun & djembe instructions.
This video is a brief demonstration of the Krin and its many styles and sounds, performed by Kemoko Sano.

4:45 pm - 6:00 pm - jembe/dundun instruction
This class will build on the same rythm taught during the krin class and at the end it will be a total arranged piece including introduction, variations and finale.
