drum skin

Hi ive had my djembe for just about 8 months now and have noticed tht one half of the rim of the drum is smooth when the skin hugs it and suddenly the other half you can feel a sharper edge. It looks like the skin has stretched a bit. really worryi8ng me as i got it from wula so its bound to be gd quality and then this has just started. Im scared itll suddenly give over time. Its tuned quite tight but has been treated with every care a good djembe would be. Im just baffled how this has happened. Any help on what could be done to help would be much appreciated,

Hi Tom,

A picture would be good if possible.. I've had cracked shells and split rings before which can both lead to the skin going crooked..
