definitely growing...although probably not as rapid in the states as it was earlier this decade.

Mexico is the hot bed right now IMO. tons of incredible players down there and they don't really have full time african artists living over there right now.

wait till China takes off...

Yes, Asia is the big untapped market.

Just did a short workshop with Pape M'Baye last week. He says that sabar drumming is getting more and more popular in Sydney too. May sabars in the teens are going to be like the bongos of the sixties? ;)

Yea Michael Taylor was saying to me that he's just back from a month in China...

China and stone djembe's ... :) The future is always unexpected. :giggle:
