Western instruments with djembe

Postby improviser388 » Sun Aug 02, 2009 12:39 am

I am a rather odd man, as I am sure some people on here will begin to realise. I have studied and practised how to overtone sing, play the dizi/quena/native american flute/tin whistle/native shaman drum. Now my wife plays trumpet and bass guitar. My question to you fine people would be assuming everything was audible what would you like to hear played together?

I like jazz and jembe. I'll upload some stuff that I've done sometime soon.

kind of an very late response.......but i suggest you search for Stephan Rigert Talking drum project. Its a nice mix including djembe among other instruments. My favorite tune of that project is Diabana. It has a very nice intro on the flute.Cheers
