I'm still not sure about Kadan as a rhythm on it's own.
And donaba is just the disc name, it's Sankaranba (the Sangbarala Sankaranba is quiet close to Kadan, btw).

what do you mean? do they sing the same donaba songs for sankaranba? i've heard at least 2 different donaba songs and 1 song for sankaranba.
should i shave my moustache?

I mean the rhythm known as Donaba is called Sankaranba and not Donaba. It's not played in Sangbarala but in Baro, Koumana, Babila, Kurala... (I think we've had this subject, Josh, you told me about a version of Koumana that you've on dvd, no?).
I don't know where this song has originally be sung to (I've never heard it in real life). If you take the bell lines, probably Kon, but I don't know that.

Thank you, friends! Now I'm working on Bandodjeli and Bolokonondo. It's so much fun!

I have a question. Are "Demosoni Kelen" and "Denmusoni" same?

yes,
it means (one) young girl - denmusoni (kelen)
it can be called "denmusonisenkelen" as well - a young girl's leg.
all these names are used to avoid the "real" name behind it, meaning "the sex of a young girl".
They sometimes say the melody of sangban and dundunba says it. I'ld say the melody can be interpretated as saying this (a guy told me once: "On a trouvé autre chose encore..." - we've found something else/new the same melody could mean).
