Drum size.

Hello Im looking to get a Djembe and want to get the correct size drum for my body. I am 6feet 1/2 inch tall. I have a 32 inch inseam and my hands are 7 inches long and 4 inches wide. I would love any advice. Thank you so much

You are tall, but you don't have particularly big hands. (I assume that your 7" measurement is from the base of the palm to the tip of your middle finger.)

I would shoot for something 13.5" to 14" in size. That should suit you well.

Depends, but anything from 24" to 25" will be good.

A lot of height adjustments can be done through sitting position. For eg, by putting cushion on the chair or using a drum chair ( I use this) OR by changing the angle of the tilt of the drum away from you.

Usually the adjustement in the seating position is better.

Sit in a seat (chair with 18" height from the ground) and see where your belly button is.

Usually most people like the djembe when tilted (@ angle 20 degrees, average) should be a little lower than the belly button.

Some like it at the belly button, some even lower, its a personal choice.
