a decent djembe and bongos for this.
Just doing some recording and want a few choices with beats ect.

The thing with the djembe is i dont want one someone picked
up on their hols and trying to flog it for a fortune just
some decent quality for that money and where to buy ?

Try contacting some of the African teachers in the area and see if you can rent one from them. Teachers usually have several drums on hand and you could try a few to see what they sound like.

Try thomann.de

You're not gonna get a real african djembe for that price but you can get an imitation which will serve your purposes. Average for starters djembe in uk is 200quid.
