That looks interesting, thanks! One thing that would be useful is a table of contents, so I get to find out what rhythms are notated, plus mention of which rhythms the solos are for.

Cheers,

Michi.

I just got a copy. It looks a very good book, especially for £5.95, and i'm looking forward to working through it. Kelvin's also been adding videos to Youtube to accompany some of the notated rhythms in the book - it's very well presented all round.

Kelvin asked how i found out about it and i directed him here so he might answer Michi's suggestion.

I expect this to be very good—Kelvin definitely knows what he's doing. (He's also a TTM certified teacher.)

Cheers,

Michi.

Hi Stan,
Thanks again for your purchase and appreciate the recommedations.

Michi,
How have you been? Suddenly had a flashback of Sept2010!
Appreciate your compliments :)

My web designer should be putting up the preview pages on www.kelvinkew.com which will include the content page. Meanwhile, the preview pages is already on my Facebook photo album.

This is a start of a long term plan. This volume 1 is focus on starters and novice players. Also serve as a material for djembe teachers as they give beginner lessons & workshops.

Cheers,
Kelvin Kew
