Hello everyone.
My wife and I would drink a coffee and listen to the local drum circle. I had recently retire and we enjoyed the sound . So I bought a couple of starter tycoon djembe's, a 10" and a 12". Unfortunately, it was late fall and the circle had ceased due to cold weather (Canada).
But thanks to the web, we have been able to learn basic techniques and rhythms.
Of course our wooden drums can't seem to talk (proper sounding). That is how I found this site. I really like the sound of a Guinea lenke djembe and while learning what to look for, I have enjoyed the info here and have seen some beautiful drums.
The djembe has captured my rhythmic essence.
