Hello from the NW.

Thought I'd join up so I can better keep up with what I've read so far.
Just a bit about myself.....It's been 15 years or so since I've played. I was first introduced to drumming back when I was younger. the friends I had at that time were into Babatunde and kept to pretty structured rhythms when they played. (learned a lot)
Lately I've gotten the itch to pick up the Djembe again. I'll see how it goes this time around. I've yet to actually purchase a new drum but am pretty close to making a final decision. I've been to every store in and around my area and there's not much to be had. I would have thought Seattle had more to offer but I'm glad there's the interwebs.......
Looking forward to reading more and seeing what all of you have to offer....
