HELLO FROM ARGENTINA!

Hello everybody, my name is Ramiro, im from argentina, south america. Im in the forum for quite a bit, i thinks its time to introduce myself! (im a little shy) just kidding....

Ive been playing djembe for about 5 years now, im 26 years old... i first meet the drum, at my 20s...
From that moment i couldnt stop, i ve perfomed with senegaleses artist, and guinean artist here in my country, and also with people from here.
I have 2 senegales drums, 2 ivory coast drums, and one guinean.
I also play dununs, i was playing dununs in a guinean group based in argentina, 2 years ago.

Well, thats all that come to my mind right now, as an introduction....

I was wondering, the idea, to make a topic in the forum "My Djembekan" what do you think? Everybodies record a video of a little djembekan, and post it.
Well, i just brought in the idea...!!!

Hi Ramiro,

I think it's a good idea you have. I don't know about the "choose a winner" part though.

I don't see West African drumming as a competition based activity. I appreciate the variety of djembe players. And I learn from watching and playing with different drummers.
