My name is Freek (frake) and i live in Toronto, Canada but i was born and raised in the Netherlands.
Was given a drum to toy around with earlier this year by a friend and i got totally hooked. Recently picked up a drum for myself and i've been doing some drum circle playing in T.O. and am looking forward to starting classes this week with Mohamed Diaby.

I was taking with Mohamed for a while. I know he has a workshop coming up this weekend. I thought Mohamed was taking a break - is he back to teaching regular classes again?

Do you go much to Sekou's store on Dundas St.? There is usually good information on regular lessons and workshops by Guinean teachers.
