Hi Sekou, welcome to the site

From your facebook
"Africa (culture)....represents a wellspring of knowledge that can contribute immeasurably to enhancing living standards, promoting global cooperation, and transcending long-standing differences by focusing on shared values. "

I think we all agree with you there. There is much wisdom to be gained from African culture. And there are many problems in our modern society which need some remedies.

Looking forward to hearing more from you and your band.

All the best

Greetings James

How are you? Seneke means Cultivation in the Malinke language. This name means so much to me because my group strives to cultivate a proper understanding of traditional music of the Malinke and how this music and culture can assist in the development of the youth's minds and body.

My favorite wood for djembe is lenge.

Hello Bubudi

How are you? Yes I know Eldad, he's a really good brother. We played together a couple of times when he comes to chicago. It's been a while since I've seen him though.
Yes I do speak Malinke
