Hi from Ramstein Germany!

Postby DjembeSwag » Wed Nov 10, 2010 9:34 pm

Hello all,
I am in the Ramstein Area and am looking to find more Djembe players to work and play with. I would love to find existing circles if anyone knows of any near Ramstein or Frankfurt Germany. I know most of the common traditional West Afrcan Rhythms and acompaniments. I also build and repair Djembe's as a hobby. If you are near by plz comment!
(I deleted my last post if you saw it sorry, I posted it before I read the rules and regulations section lol)

hello from the Southeast!
Maybe you would like to come to Freiburg for the next djembé and dundun party ("Trommel- und Tanzfest") the 5th of March. Maninka music from 7 p.m. to at least midnight: http://hamana.de/termine.html and http://hamana.de/spezial-workshops.html (english version at the bottom).
You can answer me in an email, if you want: danielfpk@web.de
I suppose you know that Billy Konaté lives between Speyer and Ludwigshafen.
I think it's too early to speek of whole circles of drummers. This is what we have to work on: e.g. me with the party in Freibur (twice a year), others with the drumming party in Rastatt (Rastatter Trommelfest) and so on, and you in your surroundings.
Greetings from Freiburg,

Hello there from Mainz/Germany :-)

I work in Frankfurt... well maybe we could meet and drum sometime in summer if you like? I know a few people around who are drumming as well...
Unfortunately the only regular drum circle I know right now is at my workplace (employees only :-( )
Maybe you know a few drummers around by now?

Take Care
