Hi there,
First of all, this is not a joke but just a funny incident that happened recently when we had a visit from two of our grandchildren.
Ok, we were having a cook-out on a nice sunny Saturday and as usual, I had some music playing in the background. Suddenly, Sarah who is three years old came up and said," Me not like this music, can we change it?"
"No problem", I said, " What would you like to hear?"
She thought for a moment then said. " I like Hawaiian music".
This kind of surprised me somewhat but thought she may have been 'hula dancing' at nursery school or maybe she saw Hawaii on 'Dora the Explorer' or something. I spent sometime trying to find something vaguely Hawaian and I asked her if that's what she meant.
"No,no", she said, "That's not it ! I want the music from 'The Lion King' .... - In the Jungle, HAWAIIAN SLEEPS TONIGHT" !
I just burst out laughing and it was made more funny because she didn't know what I was laughing at. Grandkids are absolutely great and I just thought this was worth sharing.
All the best, Gordon.
