Jeez... Bill Cosby is a verbose dude. I wonder what talk show this was. I wonder what the initial question was.

Indeed, I've gone through issues with fingers going numb while playing dunduns. Being out of shape sucks.

It was the Dick Cavett show. The man sitting next to him, laughing hysterically, is Jack Benny.

The question was something like "Before you became an actor/comedian, you wanted to be a jazz musician, right? Can you tell us about that?"

I do believe that's a stand-up routine, delivered sitting down. (Which is something that he did in concert, too.) Love his impression of Max.

Cosby was fantastic describing that feeling you get when you just can't do it!!!!
