Drum squares

Has anybody thought of trying a bit of lateral thinking and having a drum square? What would happen to the sound, the rhythm, the drum!!!

lol, i guess you could call the weekly drum circle ive been attentding a drum square. You actually have to audition before you can play with them. Ive only been playing with them for a few weeks now, but its mostly the same 8-9 people that have been drumming together weekly for almost a year now, so its got alittle more structure than your average drum circle. Is that kinda what you meant?
