HOW TO FUNDRAISE FOR AFRICA ONLINE?

Hi, everyone.

A teacher of mine has some charitable work going on in southern Senegal--a school, & a women's health center. Does anyone have advice about how he could extend his fundraising online? I was thinking Kickstarter.com, but then saw they support only artistic endeavors, not charitable work.

A friend of mine is associated with a charity in Guinea is raising funds through Goodsearch. I know nothing about them other than Wantanara is using them, so caveat emptor (or whatever Latin is for donor beware). Basically the charity makes money when people use the Goodsearch search engine.

There are threads on this board from time to time about charitable works. Maybe James and the administrators would be willing to set up a page for charitable stuff.
