Hi guys
I'm preparing a theater staging of shakespeare's titus andronicus.
Presently I'm assembling the written project. Thought it would be more apealing if it had images of some of the strong ideas for the play.
One of those ideas is the inclusion of african percussion, because of the Moor, Aaron, a black man.
So, I'm going to start the musical creative research with the dunumba, the family of rythms and all the concept of it, the ceremony, its social, cultural, religious (if one may say so) function.
does any one has or knows where to get (at the web) a good photo of a dunumba?
And a video could be helpfull too if the written project is sent by mail.
This spectacle is going to happen in Lisbon, Portugal, in one of the municipal theaters there. It's quite a large project, with a musical band included, video projection, some kind of vip guests, so the director of the theater alerted me for the need of getting co-producers to complete the budget.
I'll include djembefola.com in the thanks to section of the play's program
cheers
David
