Judging by the videos, Mathieu clearly is competent, and he's learned from the right teachers.

From the demo section on the website, it appears though that all the sounds samples are done with Percussion Studio. I'd be cautious for that reason: Percussion Studio is incapable of capturing proper micro-timing, feel, and swing, so everything comes out sounding mechanical. I'm sure that you can learn the basic solo phrases that way, but you won't learn how to play them with correct feel, correct dynamics, or correct micro-timing.

I'm surprised that Mathieu decided to use Percussion Studio for what, judging by the website, seems to be quite a comprehensive piece of work. He clearly could have played the material himself and made it so much more valuable that way.
