updated rhythm notation system

Postby bubudi » Wed Dec 02, 2009 11:50 pm

this is still in its early days, but the new notation system can do the following:
  • both binary (4/4, 16/8, etc) and ternary (3/4, 12/8, etc) rhythms
  • pair dunun parts with their bell parts
  • adjust microtiming
  • add comments and descriptions
  • designate whether a tab is for public or private view through the application
  • embed notation in any message, public or private

i've added a quick tutorial. thanks to james for all the code work and planning that went into this!

Thanks for the tutorial!

James, I'm still seeing only a blank area where the tab is supposed to appear (with Safari). Any chance of looking at that?

Thanks,

Michi.

Yes.. I created a private tab, just to test. and when I clicked on the link, it was blank, and nothing to allow tab to be edited etc.
This could be a great tool. Really looking forward to using it.

Keltik-

I think there is a problem with Mac's Safari and Mozilla firefox (both on Mac) I don't know if anyone else got it to work, but when I'm on my machines at my day job, it is only the pcs that work on that page.

Mods?

This is pretty hard for me to fix if I can't replicate the problem. I need some time on a mac to check it out I think... Will see what I can do...

The PC at my studio is running Ubuntu, I will be closing my studio this summer, if the problem is still around, I'll have a look from that machine when I get it online...
