Date display

Postby Djembe-nerd » Thu Feb 04, 2010 12:04 am

The date display keeps changing from time to time. SOmetime the same post in the Index shows up as a different date and if you look at it after sometime, it will be a different date.

Can there be one time, it doesn't matter if it is Europe, Asia, Australia or USA. This will help in tracking the posts and not openeing them seeing the different date display.

If the software is working correctly, you see all dates and times adjusted to the time zone you set in your preferences. If the date changes, the only way for that to happen that I can see is for the clock on the server to change.

Cheers,

Michi.

if you view messages as a guest, you will be using the default time zone. once you login you will be using the time zone you chose in the user control panel (when you signed up). so if you want only one time zone, the solution is to always login before you read new messages.

OK, Thanks. I think that was what was happening.
