I love the original drums in the documentary. And The great moves of Youssouf Koumbassa. He will be at our workshop in Holland in august!

Yousouff is one of the most graceful dancers i've seen. a clear and patient teacher who expects the best out of his students. he can really drop the hammer when he wants. he's also extremely humble and grateful. i'm pretty lucky that i get to see yousouff at least 3-4 times a year. He and moustapha are probably the 2 preeminent Guinea dance teachers in the world right now.
should i shave my moustache?

Hi Bubudi,

The details of the workshop have been posted in the workshop section long time ago.
It will be great indeed, with DJ Michel spinning the wheels of steel at night, hoping that he still can follow the (without any doubt) very interesting workshops during the daytime. But do you come......?

hi michel, seeing that i live more than 15,000 km from you, i think not 8) but hopefully other members in the netherlands will, and who knows, maybe some other europeans will also make the trip to attend the workshop and meet new people. sounds like a lot of fun.
