i believe it's spoken by a small ethnic group in the south of guinea (near macenta) who call themselves ziolo. the language was previously thought to be a dialect of loma (toma) but there are differences that put it closer to mende and bandi, making it a language in its own right.
most ziolos are christian. they are believed to have migrated from liberia.
